Hi, I'm Nichole. Astrologically, trapped between two signs (Libra and Scorpio), but since I like Libra better, I call myself that, which is what my username is referring to.

I had a Livejournal once before, but I deleted it in favor of myspace (dumb, since I ended up hating myspace and deleting it too) and now it's gone forever. I'd like some new friends, preferably people who actually read my crap. I don't mind if you don't comment, since I don't want you to say something is good when it's not, but at least give it a chance. Why have LJ friends if you aren't going to read their journals, anyway?

I like:
Traveling, and I wish I had more time and money for it.
Cello, but I've barely played in years.
Meditating. I just got into it, and it's made such a huge difference in my life.
Going along with that, astral projection. I can't decide if it's a journey my mind takes me on, or if it's real, but I love it. And isn't that what really matters?
Hamsters. I just got my first one, and the new world of pet-ownership has opened up.
Music. It's a big part of my life, and what I like changes with my mood. Stuff I've always liked, though, includes Rammstein, Smashing Pumpkins, Dropkick Murphys, The Used, Placebo, and, as I mentioned before, cello music.

I dislike:
My cell phone. It's a Razr, and it makes SO many unwanted, annoying noises. I liked my old one much better.
Cold hands and feet. I am a chronic slipper-wearer.
Not having a TV. I don't mind missing television so much, but I miss watching more movies.
Lots of other less superficial stuff, but I try not to be negative and if I think of the injustices I see, I'll just get mad.

Other than that, I live with a roommate. He's male, but we're not together. I work as a receptionist at a preschool, which is a decent job. I like kids, and hope to go back to school to get certified in early childhood education. Anything else you want to know, just ask.
